Role & responsibilities

Shift- 3PM to 12 AM (Shift can be rotational )

  • Application Development & Maintenance:
  • Update, enhance, and maintain existing Python applications across the companies ecosystem.
  • Refactor and modernize legacy codebases to improve performance, security, and maintainability.

  • Contribute to data integration using ETL tools such as SSIS and develop reports using Power BI.

  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:

  • Debug, investigate, and resolve complex issues in production and staging environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement permanent fixes.
  • System Integration & Optimization:
  • Ensure seamless integration between Python applications and other internal or third-party systems.
  • Contribute to the design and optimization of APIs, services, and database interactions.
  • Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers, promoting best practices.
  • Identify and implement potential enhancements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Monitor application performance, implementing improvements to enhance scalability and stability.

  • Document solutions, processes, and technical decisions for knowledge sharing.

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
  • Solid experience working with REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, and asynchronous programming.
  • Experience in ETL Tools like SSIS and Azure Data Factory.
  • Experience in reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI.
  • Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong debugging, profiling, and optimization skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, able to work independently and within a team.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Ability to take loose or incompletely defined requirements and use knowledge and experience to create a finished product.
  • Ability to give effective training and presentations to project stakeholders.
