Grade : T6 "Please note that the Job will close at 12am on Posting Close date, so please submit your application prior to the Close Date" What your main responsibilities are: About the Role: As a Lead in the Commercial Insights & Business Planning team at FedEx-GMCE CoE, you will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making for enterprise leadership. You will lead the delivery of strategic insights, executive-ready storyboards, and performance narratives by analyzing internal FedEx data in combination with external market and economic trends. You will partner closely with stakeholders across Forecasting, Corporate Strategy and Market Analytics, and Regional Marketing teams to translate complex data into actionable insights. The role requires strategic thinking, strong analytical rigor, and excellent communication skills to influence decisions at the highest level. You will also lead automation initiatives, optimize processes, and mentor junior team members to foster a culture of insight-driven collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Gain extensive knowledge of FedEx products, relevant tools, and systems. Coach and mentor team members, providing guidance and training Identify relevant KPIs / metrics for business performance and translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights and storyboards tailored to support strategic and operational decision-making. Act as a strategic thought partner to FedEx leadership, providing analysis and recommendations that link performance drivers with market and economic trends. Collaborate cross-functionally with Forecasting, Corporate Strategy, Market Analytics, and Regional Marketing teams to build integrated solutions and insights that inform enterprise strategy. Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders by managing expectations, gathering requirements, and delivering impactful analytics solutions. Lead the development and delivery of Quarterly Commercial Earnings Packets, Strategic Outlook materials, and Business Plan insights for executive consumption. Take ownership and accountability for end-to-end deal execution; coordinate/ partner with cross-functional teams globally and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs Manage and execute high-priority, ad-hoc executive requests with agility and accuracy, providing long-term fact bases and performance analyses. Ensure timely delivery of insights and fact-based analyses to accelerate the business planning cycle and quarterly earnings processes. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering strong analytical capabilities, business context understanding, and stakeholder engagement. Continuously improve team processes to optimize turnaround time, enhance forecasting insights, and strengthen the rigor of strategic decision support. Drive automation of reporting solutions, dashboards, and digital tools to enhance decision-making efficiency and self-service capabilities.
