Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician with strong expertise in CNC machines and industrial equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, ensuring smooth operation of CNC machinery, and supporting industrial automation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of CNC machines and industrial equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, PLC, and control panel issues on CNC machinery.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize machine downtime.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Calibrate and test electrical/electronic systems on CNC and automated machines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all electrical activities.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to resolve machine breakdowns quickly.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, service reports, and spare part usage.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new CNC and industrial machines.
  • Recommend improvements to enhance machine reliability and energy efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Diploma / ITI in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 35 years of industry experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in CNC machines.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, PLCs, VFDs, control panels, and sensors.
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting CNC machine controllers (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or similar).
  • Ability to use electrical testing tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, clamp meter, etc.).
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, lockout-tagout procedures, and industrial standards.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.
