Project Planner for Pulp and Energy Business Line (based in Chennai, India)

Are you the enthusiastic, self-driven and result-oriented professional who wants to move our customer’s performance forward?

We are looking for “Project Planner” to be based in Chennai, India. This position reports to “Head – Project Execution”. In this position you will have an opportunity and responsible for Leading and facilitating project planning process.

In this position, you will be required and responsible for,

Sets up the project schedule environment using approved templates and modifies those together with Project Manager to fit for the project needs. Actively participate and support the project and site management team. Take identified issues into consideration when needed to develop and control the schedule. Develop project baseline schedule according to contract and participate actively in change, risk and claim management. Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with standard of best project practice and using approved templates. Identify the project critical path, monitor it closely and communicate any changes to project manager and other team members. Evaluates the project progress and forecast the future based on inputs from the other software tools or from project team. Actively engages with project team and relevant customer representatives as well as other stakeholders.

To succeed this role, you will need:

Minimum – 5 years of relevant experience Academic qualification – Bachelor of Engineering Basic qualification – Good in time management, Planning & Scheduling mind set. Software – Minimum Excel and MS project Effective written and oral communication skills in English. Effective team working and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Excellent ability to identify bottle necks on the project looking at the schedule and advise the project team accordingly. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with different stakeholders, customers and teams. Excellent networking skills.
