We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress & Shopify Developer with strong expertise in both front-end and back-end development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building, customizing, and optimizing high-performing websites and e-commerce stores. You will work closely with our design, marketing, and product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-friendly web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes, plugins, and WooCommerce stores.
  • Build and optimize Shopify themes and custom apps for scalable e-commerce solutions.
  • Work on front-end development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
  • Implement back-end functionalities using PHP, MySQL, Liquid (Shopify), and REST APIs.
  • Ensure website performance, security, and responsiveness across devices and browsers.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, shipping modules, and ERP/CRM systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.
  • Collaborate with designers to convert Figma/Adobe XD mockups into fully functional websites.
  • Stay updated with the latest web development trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews for quality assurance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of proven experience in WordPress & Shopify development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Liquid.
  • Expertise in custom theme and plugin development for WordPress.
  • Hands-on experience with WooCommerce and Shopify Plus.
  • Solid understanding of web performance optimization, caching, and SEO best practices.
  • Knowledge of Elementor, WPML, ACF, and other popular WordPress plugins.
  • Experience with Git version control, deployment workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with GSAP, React, or is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with headless WordPress or Shopify.
  • Knowledge of Shopify app development using or React.
  • Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, GCP, DigitalOcean)
