Description
We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our rapidly expanding Training as a Service (TaaS) team. In this client-facing role, you will spearhead the design and development of innovative learning solutions, showcasing your thought leadership in the adult learning field.
As a Training Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading instructional design and development teams to create highly effective learning solutions tailored for our clients, including role-based learning and systems training. Leveraging adult learning best practices and rapid training development tools such as SAP Enable Now, Articulate Storyline, and more , you will craft engaging learning experiences that empower learners to acquire knowledge, skills, and competencies seamlessly.
Training Assistant Manager is responsible for the following:
Conduct comprehensive Learning Needs Analysis to define and develop a robust Training Curriculum for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and learner requirements.
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for curriculum and course development, leveraging a blended learning model that incorporates web-based training (WBT), instructor-led training (ILT), virtual instructor-led training (VILT), in application support (where appropriate), and other modalities to create a holistic learning experience.
Demonstrate exceptional time management and project management skills, delivering high-quality course materials while adhering to project timelines and standards, ensuring timely and efficient project execution.
Apply team leadership and instructional design expertise to effectively mentor and guide junior training development team members, fostering their growth and enabling them to develop effective learning solutions.
Develop comprehensive training materials, including system simulations, eLearning courses, quick reference guides, and work instructions, by applying instructional design methodologies, system and process design principles, and proficient use of rapid training development tools such as Articulate Storyline, SAP Enable Now, and others, while adhering to established development standards for the project.
Ensure strict adherence to quality and design standards and client requirements, consistently exceeding client expectations by delivering high-quality, engaging, and effective learning solutions.
Design and develop instructional courses tailored to role-based learning needs and enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Workday, and others, leveraging your in-depth knowledge and expertise in modern adult learning for technical training.
Proactively identify potential issues or risks and promptly communicate them to the Training Lead, providing well-thought-out solutions and recommendations to mitigate or resolve them effectively.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
A minimum of nine (9+) years of experience designing and delivering end-to-end lifecycle course development for role-based training using a blended learning model (web-based Training (WBT), Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Virtual Instructor-Led Training (ILT), etc.).
A minimum of five to six (5-6) experience using rapid authoring tools (e.g. Assima Train, uPerform, SAP Enable Now, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite).
Demonstrated ability to apply Instructional Design methodology, thought leadership, innovative thinking, and adult learning principles in a learning development project (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
Project Management experience (waterfall and agile experience desired).
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team of Instructional Designers and Training Developers for a large-scale Learning & Development (L&D) project, providing oversight, leadership, feedback, coaching support, and quality assurance (QA) for team deliverables (4+ years).
Six or more (6+) years of corporate experience in an internal or external client facing role with at least four (4) years in a Training Lead role.
Excellent grasp of American English Grammar rules and communications skills (written and oral).
Demonstrated aptitude to learn, self-manage, and be resourceful in a fast paced, customer facing role.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, provide team direction and leadership, and effectively coach direct reports with feedback for improvement as well as positive reinforcement feedback for a job well done.
Strong attention to detail and excellent grasp of American English grammar (written and spoken).
Demonstrated ability to:
Manage multiple tasks and balance priorities across multiple stakeholders
Accomplish work under tight timelines and manage stress levels
Schedule flexibility due to the global reach of projects, and a strong commitment to detail and quality of work.
