We're Hiring: DB2 LUW Migration SME

Are you an experienced DB2 LUW Specialist with strong expertise in database migration and modernization? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team and drive transformation in large-scale enterprise environments.

Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Noida / Pune

Shift: UK Timezone

Experience: 8+ years

Mandatory Certification: DB2 LUW Certification

Key Responsibilities:

Perform installation, configuration, upgrade, and migration of Db2 LUW (Linux/Unix/Windows) databases.

Lead database due diligence, migration planning, and modernization consultation.

Define and implement migration approaches (Db2 native or cloud-native).

Manage database administration, performance tuning, HADR setup, and troubleshooting.

Ensure database security, backup/recovery, and capacity planning.

Work with cloud infrastructures (IBM/AWS/Azure/GCP) and migration tools (AWS DMS, SCT, Azure DMS, Google Cloud Data Migration Service).

Create migration playbooks/runbooks and conduct POCs for new tools.

Mentor team members and contribute to best practices and standards.

Good to Have:

Knowledge of MongoDB, Oracle, SQL databases

Hands-on with automation of DBA activities

Exposure to application optimization and storage planning
