Cloud Solution Delivery Lead Consultant

Job title : QA & Test Automation EngineerLocation : PUNE(Preferred)/BangaloreOverview:The QA & Testing Engineer will work alongside project and program stakeholders as well as Release Management to ensure that specific streams of work are progressing to plan, cross project and program dependencies are identified and managed appropriately, provide guidance by example and act as the first escalation point for QA & Testing across their project or program.Key responsibilities:• Ensure project / program adherence to the Bank’s standard QA and Testing processes throughout the SDLC for each release.• Experience in the areas of testing with specialization in Automation testing.• Hands on experience in middleware/backend service-based application Testing.• Experience in Agile test methodology. Individual must have experience of working within full Agile teams. They will need to have experience working within a fully functional team that performs analysis, dev and test for feature slices.• Experience in Defect tracking tools and Test reports.• Liaise with the DevOps team and carry on the testing effectively.• Should be good in communication and handle the stake holders effectively.• Work with the development team to understand the technologies and develop / implement automated testing tools for data comparison and transformation.• Test automation frameworks: There are many different test automation frameworks available, such as Selenium WebDriver, Gherkin, Cucumber and JUnit. Automation test engineers need to be familiar with one or more of these frameworks to automate tests.• Working knowledge on Java is mandate.• A deep, practical understanding of SDLC processes including Requirements, Design, Development, Build, Release Management, and Quality Assurance.• Build automated Regression Testing capability.• Experience of SQL is a must, PL/SQL would be desirable.• Experience with cloud-based testing tools or good understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies, is desirable.You will have:• 5-10 years’ experience in QA & Testing, preferred with 3 yr + experience in banking domain.• Proven experience of managing QA & Testing across the full SDLC on large scale projects or programme.• In depth knowledge of QA & Testing industry best practices and tools, including Jira and ALM/QC• Proven experience of defining and implementing programme level test strategies.• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate at senior level.• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.• Proven experience of delivering results in matrixed organizations under pressure and tight timescales.• Experience of implementing test automation frameworks.• Confident managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels.• Passionate about quality.
