Essential/ KeyResponsibilities ContractManagement :Draft review and negotiate contractsensuring legal and projectcompliance.Proactively address contractual issues and disputes incollaboration with legalteams. Ensurecompliance with company policies and legal requirements throughoutthe contractlifecycle. Contract Renewals &Termination: Develop a systematicapproach for managing contractrenewalsterminations and extensions. Identify opportunities forrenegotiation orimprovement duringthe renewal process.Vendor RelationshipManagement : Establish and maintain positive relationships withvendors contractorsand other external stakeholders. Collaborate with vendors tooptimize contractterms pricing and service levels. Conduct regular performancereviews and addressany issues or concerns. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks within contracts and implementstrategies tomitigate those risks. Work closely with legal and risk managementteams to addresscontractual and legal risks. Team Leadership andMentorship: Providing guidance trainingand mentorship to juniorteam memberscontributing to their professional growth anddevelopment. TenderManagement Develop and implement tendering strategiesaligned with projectobjectives. Collaborate withrelevant departments to gather project requirements fortendering. Evaluateand analyse tender submissions negotiating terms withvendors.
OperationalDuties Document Management: Maintain acentralized contract repository with accurate anduptodate information. Oversee the creationdistribution and retrieval of project documents.Implement document control measures foraccessibility and confidentiality. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitateopen communication between project stakeholdersand contractors. Provide regular updates oncontract status potential risks and disputeresolution. Collaborate with projectmanagers legal teams and other stakeholders oncontractrelated matters. Foster positive andcollaborative relationships with internal andexternal Compliances Ensure that all contracts adhere to legal andregulatory requirements. Regularly updateand educate internal teams on changes in relevant laws andregulations affecting contracts. Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on contractperformance and compliance to seniormanagement. Provide insights and recommendations for improvementbased on performance data.Required Work Experience& Knowledge RecruitmentBackground: 34 years of experience required incontracts Management. Leadership Experience: Previousexperience in a leadership within a Contract managementteam is beneficial showcasing the ability tolead and mentor 23team members.RequiredEducation Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech) Masters degree in construction Management would be preferableSkills Required Strategic Thinking: Ability to viewcontracts within the broader organizational contextunderstanding how they align with thecompanys goals and contribute to its longtermsuccess. Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiationskills to secure favorable terms and conditions.Ability to find mutually beneficialsolutions during negotiations. Contract Law Knowledge: Ability tointerpret legal terms and conditions in contracts byunderstanding the law & Principles Documentation :The ability to create organize and maintain comprehensive andaccuratedocumentation throughout the contract lifecycle ensuringclarity transparency and adherence to legaland organizational standards. Liaisoning Skills : Fosteringrelationships with clients vendors and partners that contributeto the organizations longterm success.Collaborating with key stakeholders to gatherinsights and align contract activities withorganizational functions. Risk Anticipation : Identifying potential risks associated withcontracts and contractual relationships.Developing proactive strategies to mitigate risks and ensureorganizational resilience
