Job Description :

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual QA Tester to join our innovative fintech team. As a Manual QA Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our financial technology products and services through thorough manual testing processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements, execute test cases, identify and report issues, and verify fixes.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute comprehensive manual test cases, scripts, and procedures to validate the functionality, usability, and performance of fintech applications.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring test coverage aligns with product objectives.
  • Conduct functional testing to verify that features and functionalities meet specified requirements and perform as expected.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that code changes and enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
  • Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects, usability issues, and edge cases that may not be covered by existing test cases.
  • Document and communicate test results, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders, including detailed reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
  • Work closely with developers to investigate and troubleshoot issues, providing clear and actionable feedback for resolution.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings to provide input on testing efforts, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to overall process enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and trends in manual testing and quality assurance, actively seeking opportunities for continuous learning and professional degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester or similar role, with a focus on testing web and mobile applications.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience creating and executing manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
