Quality Assurance Tester

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of testers, providing guidance and support.

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive manual test cases for web applications.

• Collaborate with the automation testing team to design and implement test automation frameworks and scripts.

• Perform functional, usability, compatibility, and regression testing to identify defects and ensure a seamless user experience.

• Create and maintain test plans, test matrices, and defect reports.

• Work closely with developers and product managers to understand feature requirements and deliver high-quality applications.

• Review and provide feedback on user stories, acceptance criteria, and design specifications.

• Perform root cause analysis on identified issues and work on their resolution.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest web application testing trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 6-7 years of professional experience in web application manual testing.

• Proficiency in testing web applications (Functional, Accessibility & Performance )

• Strong knowledge of test case design, test execution, and defect management.

• Experience in leading and mentoring a team of testers.

• Familiarity with web testing tools, such as TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, Junit or other tools.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Self-motivated and proactive with a strong attention to detail.

• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB or Diploma) are a plus.
