Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test objectives and criteria
  • Test Planning: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on functional specifications and user stories
  • Manual Testing: Conduct comprehensive manual testing to ensure the e-commerce application meets the specified requirements and delivers a seamless user experience
  • Test Automation: Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python to improve testing efficiency and coverage
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects and issues using bug-tracking tools. Work with the development team to ensure timely resolution of defects
  • Performance and Usability Testing: Evaluate the application’s performance, usability, and scalability under various conditions to ensure it meets user expectations
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Coordinate and support UAT with end-users to validate the application against business requirements.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed test reports, summarize testing activities, and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance overall product quality
  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports


Education and Knowledge:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months of experience in quality assurance
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify issues proactively. Knowledge of SQL for identifying and analyzing issues
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate issues clearly and work collaboratively with team members
  • Customer Focus: A strong understanding of e-commerce and a customer-centric approach to quality assurance
