Job Title : Senior AUTOSAR Engineer (Ethernet Switch Configuration & Integration).

Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Senior AUTOSAR Engineer with over 5 years of experience in configuring and integrating Ethernet switches within automotive systems.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AUTOSAR architecture, BSW modules, and Ethernet communication protocols.

You will play a pivotal role in designing, configuring, and integrating Ethernet-based communication stacks for various automotive applications.

Key Responsibilities :

AUTOSAR Configuration :

- Configure AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules, including Ethernet stack modules such as TCP/IP, Ethernet Driver, and PDU Router.

- Create and maintain configuration files using tools such as Vector DaVinci, EB tresos, or similar.

- Integrate Ethernet communication protocols into the AUTOSAR environment.

Ethernet Switch Integration :

- Configure and integrate Ethernet switches into the AUTOSAR architecture.

- Collaborate with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of Ethernet switches within the ECU.

- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues related to Ethernet switch configuration and performance.

Software Development & Integration :

- Develop, configure, and integrate communication software components for Ethernet-based systems.

- Perform integration testing, debugging, and validation of AUTOSAR components and Ethernet stacks.

- Ensure that the software meets the required performance, safety, and quality standards.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and testing teams, to ensure efficient Ethernet communication across the vehicle network.

- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and test results.

- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers on AUTOSAR configuration and Ethernet switch integration.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AUTOSAR standards, Ethernet communication protocols, and automotive networking.

- Contribute to process improvements and the optimization of Ethernet communication systems in vehicles.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience : 5+ years of hands-on experience in AUTOSAR configuration, with a focus on Ethernet stack configuration and Ethernet switch integration.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in AUTOSAR architecture and tools (e., Vector DaVinci, EB tresos).

- Strong knowledge of Ethernet communication protocols (e., AVB, SOME/IP, TCP/IP).

- Experience in configuring and integrating Ethernet switches within automotive systems.

- Experience with network management protocols and diagnostics (e., DoIP, Network Management).

- Programming : Proficient in C/C++ for embedded systems.

- Tools : Familiarity with automotive communication testing tools such as CANoe, CANalyzer, and Ethernet testing suites.

- Problem-Solving : Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, particularly in network communication and software integration.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with safety-critical automotive systems and standards (e., ISO 26262).

- Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity practices related to Ethernet communication.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Educational Requirements :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
