About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Store Keeper to manage inventory, materials, and supplies at our aluminium fabrication facility. The role involves maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring timely availability of materials for production and projects, and coordinating with purchase, accounts, and site teams to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials such as aluminium profiles, glass, UPVC panels, ACP sheets, hardware, and consumables.
- Maintain proper storage of materials, ensuring safety, orderliness, and easy retrieval.
- Issue raw materials, tools, and consumables to production and site teams against proper requisitions.
- Maintain accurate records of stock movement in registers/ERP/CRM (Zoho or similar).
- Conduct periodic stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and raise requisitions for replenishment.
- Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and identification of stored items.
- Coordinate with purchase and accounts departments regarding deliveries, invoices, and GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes).
- Track returnable items such as tools, scaffolding, and hardware from sites.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and proper documentation.
- Assist in logistics coordination for material dispatch to project sites.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum Diploma / ITI qualification (preferred: Diploma in Civil, or related).
- 2–4 years of experience in store/inventory management, preferably in fabrication, construction, or building materials industry.
- Knowledge of aluminium profiles, glass, and construction hardware is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM software (Zoho/Excel/Tally) for stock management.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and work under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of safety and handling practices for fragile/heavy materials.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹9, ₹15,000.00 per month
