About The Opportunity
Join as the leader of the Fitness function at a pioneering sport and wellness club in India. We are seeking an accomplished professional with extensive hands-on experience across diverse fitness and recovery disciplines, coupled with a keen interest in emerging trends that promote active and healthy lifestyles. This position offers the opportunity to shape world-class fitness programs and lead a dynamic team in a growing, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership for all aspects of the fitness department, shaping and executing a vision of holistic performance and wellness.
  • Design and implement innovative training programs to offer compelling classes and fitness solutions both inside and outside the club.
  • Manage, develop, and inspire a team of performance coaches, including personal trainers and freelance instructors.
  • Maintain the highest standards of safety, quality, and member satisfaction across all fitness services.
  • Foster a positive, results-driven culture that motivates both staff and members, contributing to club growth and community engagement.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to align fitness initiatives with broader business objectives, driving member engagement, retention, and community building.
  • Partner with marketing teams to create engaging content and organize events that enhance the member experience.
  • Initially oversee a flagship 2,600 sqm club, with the potential to expand leadership across additional locations totalling 7,500 sqm within the first year.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors or University Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Promotion, Education, Sports Management, Physiology, Health & Fitness, Physical Education, or relevant Management/PG courses.
  • Internationally recognized certification in Fitness and participation in relevant workshops.
  • Strong motivational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing medium to large-sized teams.
  • Preferably 4+ years of industry-related experience working with or managing health and fitness programs.
  • Passionate about fitness, wellness, and innovative performance programming.
