Job Description :

Must Have :

- 5+ years of work experience providing technical solutions using Ab Initio as well as other ETL technologies (Informatica).

- Solid knowledge and experience with SQL, Python, UNIX, Control-M and Korn shell.

- Ability to be creative and possess strong problem-solving skills.

- Proven experience working on large, complex, enterprise level solutions.

- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a team or individually.

- Proven success setting work priorities, multi-tasking and balancing varying demands.

- Positive attitude and ability to learn new technologies quickly.

- Dedication to keeping up to date with current trends and best practices.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Previous work at a large financial institution would be a definite asset.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role :

1. Analyze, design, develop, test and document ETL programs from detailed and high-level specifications, and assist in troubleshooting.

2. Utilize SQL, Korn shell and Python to perform tasks other than data transformation.

3. Assist in requirements analysis and subsequent development.

4. Conduct unit tests and assist in test preparations to ensure data integrity.

5. Work closely with Project Managers, Quality Assurance Analysts, Systems Analysts, Systems Architects and other Software Developers.

6. Provide estimates for software development work.

7. Participate in production support of 24x7 batch processing.

8. Provide detailed status reporting.

9. Create knowledge articles to assist in troubleshooting production issues.
