Overview: TheProduction Assistant Supervisor is a key role within ourorganization responsible for overseeing the production team toensure that all manufacturing processes are carried out effectivelyand efficiently. This position plays a crucial part in maintaininghighquality production standards and meeting productiontargets.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Supervise theproduction team and ensure that all tasks are completed in linewith production schedules and qualitystandards.
  • Train mentor and support productionassistants to achieve optimal performance andproductivity.
  • Monitor and maintain inventorylevels ensuring that the production process is not hindered byinventory shortages.
  • Identify and resolve anyissues that may arise during the production process addressing thempromptly to minimize downtime and maintainefficiency.
  • Assist in coordinating with otherdepartments to ensure smooth and seamless productionprocesses.
  • Implement and enforce safetyprotocols to ensure a secure working environment for all productionstaff.
  • Contribute to the development andimprovement of production procedures andworkflows.
  • Carry out regular quality checks toensure that products meet established qualitystandards.
  • Assist in maintaining productionrecords and reports for performance evaluation and processimprovement purposes.
  • Oversee maintenance andcleaning of production equipment to ensure proper functioning andlongevity.
  • Assist in the recruitment andonboarding of new production team members.
  • Workclosely with the production manager to meet production goals andtargets.
  • Identify opportunities for costreduction and increased efficiency within the productionprocess.
  • Participate in regular meetings todiscuss production activities andimprovements.
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inEngineering Business Administration or relevantfield.
  • Proven experience in a production ormanufacturing environment.
  • Demonstratedleadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise andmotivate a team.
  • Excellent problemsolvingabilities to address production issues andchallenges.
  • Strong time management skills toprioritize tasks and meet productiondeadlines.
  • Exceptional communication skills toeffectively interact with team members and otherdepartments.
  • Ability to organize and coordinateproduction activities to ensure optimalefficiency.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols andregulations within a manufacturingenvironment.
  • Attention to detail to performaccurate quality checks and maintain productionrecords.
  • Proficiency in using production andinventory management software.
  • Ability toanalyze production data and identify areas forimprovement.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changingproduction priorities andrequirements.
  • Previous experience in trainingand developing production staff.
  • Understandingof lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvementtechniques.
  • Willingness to work flexible hoursand weekends as production demandsrequire.
