Senior Tax Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Specialist to support our Indian tax operations, being responsible for managing all tax-related matters for our Indian entity and ensuring full compliance with local regulations. This role is ideal for professionals looking to develop their expertise in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle compliance with Indian direct and indirect tax regulations (GST, TDS, income tax, transfer pricing).
  • Prepare and file periodic tax returns and ensure timely payments.
  • Support to establish and to maintain local tax processes including a tax compliance management system.
  • Coordinate with external consultants and authorities on tax matters.
  • Stay informed about changes in Indian tax laws and support internal communication.
  • Contribute to internal and external audits and tax-related documentation.
  • Assist in tax planning and risk assessments.
  • Support IFRS-based reporting, including current and deferred tax calculations and disclosures.
  • Collaborate with the German headquarters on tax-related topics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or similar qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in Indian tax compliance and advisory.
  • Solid understanding of Indian tax laws.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Experience in a multinational setting is an advantage.
