Job Description: Packaging Design
Packaging design is a multifaceted discipline that combines creativity, technical skills, and market knowledge. A successful packaging designer must possess a diverse skill set to create visually appealing and functional designs that resonate with our target audience.
Skills Required
A packaging designer must possess a diverse range of skills to excel in this field. These include:
1. Creativity : The ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative packaging designs
2. Graphic Design : Proficiency in graphic design software and tools to create visually appealing packaging designs
3. Branding Knowledge : Understanding the brand's identity and effectively incorporating it into the packaging design
4. Attention to Detail : Ensuring accurate and precise measurements, typography, and color schemes
5. Communication Skills : Collaborating with cross-functional teams, clients, and manufacturers to convey design concepts effectively.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with marketing teams to understand product specifications, target audience, and market trends
- Conducting market research to identify competitor packaging designs and emerging trends
- Creating multiple design concepts and presenting them for review and feedback
- Incorporating feedback and revising designs until final approval
- Preparing detailed design specifications, including dimensions, materials, and printing techniques
- Collaborating with manufacturers to ensure the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of the packaging design
- Conducting quality checks to ensure the final product meets design specifications.

Qualifications:
3+ years of exp with Packaging design, preferably from beauty/personal care industry
Graduation from design schools like NIFT, NID etc
