Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary AI Lead to spearhead our AI initiatives and drive the development of our full-body AI model for medical imaging. This role is ideal for an experienced AI professional who is passionate about healthcare innovation and eager to lead a talented team in creating state-of-the-art AI solutions that transform radiology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AI Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy aligned with Natoe AI's vision to revolutionize radiology services. Lead the end-to-end development of AI models for various imaging modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, etc.) covering a wide range of pathologies and diseases.
  • Model Development: Oversee the design, training, validation, and deployment of advanced deep learning models for image analysis, segmentation, detection, classification, and prediction in medical imaging.
  • Team Building & Mentorship: Build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and medical imaging specialists. Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise to junior team members.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with radiologists, data engineers, software engineers, and product managers to integrate AI models seamlessly into our teleradiology platform and standalone applications.
  • MLOps & Deployment: Implement and manage MLOps practices, including model versioning, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and real-time performance monitoring to ensure robust and scalable deployment of AI models.
  • Research & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI research by exploring and applying the latest techniques in deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing. Contribute to the company's thought leadership through publications, patents, and conference presentations.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all AI models and processes adhere to healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, CE, CDSCO). Work closely with regulatory experts to ensure compliance and safety in AI deployment.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field from a top-tier university (IITs, IISc, ISI, BITS Pilani, or equivalent).
  • Experience: 5-10 years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role. Strong experience in computer vision, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras), and large-scale model deployment.
  • Healthcare AI Experience (Preferred but not mandatory): Prior experience in medical imaging AI is a plus. However, candidates with strong AI expertise in other domains (e.g., autonomous driving, robotics) who are eager to apply their skills to healthcare are welcome to apply.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in designing and deploying AI models for computer vision tasks such as image segmentation, object detection, classification, and prediction. Strong understanding of MLOps, cloud platforms, and big data technologies.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead AI/ML teams, manage complex projects, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. Strong mentorship skills and experience in guiding junior team members.
  • Analytical and Strategic Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with a visionary mindset. Ability to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions and strategies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and drive alignment on AI initiatives.
