Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Developer to join our team at OptimHire. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic that powers our web applications. This is a mid-level position, requiring 4 to 6 years of experience, and the work location is in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. The employment type for this role is full-time.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field4 to 6 years of experience in backend developmentStrong proficiency in Python programming languageExperience in working with Django and GraphQL frameworksFamiliarity with FastAPI and MySQL databaseKnowledge of AWS services for deploying and scaling applicationsUnderstanding of code versioning tools, such as GitExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work effectively within a team and independentlyStrong communication and collaboration skillsPassion for learning and staying updated with the latest technologies

Roles and Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable server-side codeCollaborate with the frontend development team to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logicImplement data storage solutions and integration with various databasesBuild and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the front and back endOptimize application performance, scalability, and securityDebug and resolve issues in a timely and efficient mannerParticipate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team membersStay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure the best practices are implementedCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsContribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies
