To augment our Engineering & Designing team in view of our proposed expansion and globalisation plans, we are looking for qualified and experienced professionals at Essar Constructions India Ltd – Engineering Division, Surat.


Major Responsibilities:

Responsible for preparation of all Stress related deliverables and will work with multi- disciplinary team of engineers during the execution of the project.

Coordinate with Layout team and other discipline etc.

Reviews the Client’s technical documentation and requirements.



Preparation of Piping Stress Specification and critical lines list.

Preparation of project pipe support specification.

Perform modelling as per stress specification and analyzing results in Caesar II program.

Fully conversant with stress analysis of piping component to various types of equipment’s like Column, Tanks, Exchangers, Pumps, Compressors, Reactors, etc.

Fully conversant with requirements like Trunnion Calculation, Flange Leakage calculation, qualification of allowable nozzle loads and standard calculations of critical piping networks.

Fully conversant with analysis of buried lines.

Selection of Expansion joint, supports as required in the system.

Issues loads to civil and structural for design of pipe-rack and foundations.

Issues technical part of requisitions for all piping supports components required by stress analysis calls for tender.

Issues technical bid evaluation for all piping supports components offers.

Reviews and approve vendor’s documents.

Checks the isometrics for construction of critical lines issued by the Layout Team.

Knowledge of piping engineering fundamentals in order to perform various jobs.

Must have Sound Knowledge in International Codes and Standards like B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME, NEMA, TEMA, EJMA and API standards.


Flexibility to travel intra-and Inter-continentally on regular basis.

Excellent communication and co-ordination skills (both verbal and written).

Advanced analytical, problem solving, accuracy and interpersonal skills.


Qualification:

B.E. / B. Tech. - Mechanical


Experience:

10 - 15 years of experience in a Piping Stress Analysis. Must have focused experience in Oil & Gas Projects and Power Plant Projects.
