The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills:  Responsibility: Build, Operate and Maintain Infrastructure as Code automation with Terraform, Ansible, scripting languages and other tools Setting up governance policies, IaC, monitoring, alerts and backup/restore Automating monitoring of Performance/Health metrics for improving site reliability Train engineering teams on creating monitoring/alerting using existing tooling and processes, and promoting SRE best practices Continuous improvement to code to make it modular so that its easier to apply monitoring capabilities across products for same services. Work with DevOps team to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines related to SRE. Experience Overall 5+ years’ experience with 2+ years of experience in Google Cloud with experience and understanding in GCP concepts ( Regions, Zones, Virtual Networks, Subnets, NAT Gateway, Firewall setup) 5+ years’ hands-on coding experience with programming languages (Java, JS, Python, .net, C#, etc.) or scripting languages (Shell, PowerShell, etc.) 3+ years’ hands-on experience with administration and setup of CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and bash shell scripts in Gitlab or Jenkins 2+ years’ hands-on experience with Monitoring tool like Datadog , Grafana, Splunk, or ELK and Alert setup with custom metrics and reliability metrics like availability, error budgeting, other SLI/SLO's 2+ years’ experience with administration and maintenance with GKE or Kubernetes 2+ years’ hands-on experience in building automation scripts with bash shell or a programming language like Python Strong have experience in using agile scrum environment with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
