We are currently seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with a strong background in Node.js, cloud services (Azure or AWS), and Docker to join our dynamic engineering team. 


Job Summary: As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that power our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate has at least four years of experience in backend development, strong expertise in Node.js, and a solid understanding of cloud services and containerization technologies.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Node.js.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate backend services with user interfaces.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of backend services.
  • Utilize cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) to deploy and manage backend services.
  • Implement containerization and orchestration using Docker and related tools.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least four years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and related frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerization technologies.
  • Experience with database design and SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
