Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer with strong knowledge of design tools, machining processes, and product documentation. The candidate will be responsible for creating and reviewing engineering drawings, supporting production with technical inputs, and ensuring compliance with quality standards for manufacturing components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study, interpret, and prepare engineering drawings.
  • Create and modify designs using AutoCAD and 3D software (NX / SolidWorks).
  • Apply GD&T principles and ensure measurement accuracy in drawings.
  • Prepare machining process drawings (CNC setup, VMC setup, etc.).
  • Select appropriate materials and provide inputs on material properties.
  • Support PPAP documentation and related quality requirements.
  • Work with ERP software for design data and production planning.
  • Coordinate with production for surface treatment processes (heat treatment, zinc plating, anodizing, etc.).
  • Maintain records, reports, and technical documentation.
  • Use MS Office for reports, presentations, and documentation.

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Strong drawing reading and interpretation skills (must).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (must).
  • Hands-on experience in 3D software (NX / SolidWorks).
  • Knowledge of GD&T, measurement techniques, and machining processes.
  • Understanding of materials and treatments related to manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with PPAP documentation and ERP software.
  • Basic knowledge of surface treatment processes.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering.
  • 1–3 years of experience in design & manufacturing industry (precision machining preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹35,000.00 per month
