We are urgently seeking applications for Head of Cyber Security for our client, who are the biggest and strongest financial institutions of India.Education/Skills:Graduate degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;

PhD/Master’s in Cyber Security preferred.Hands-on experience in Cyber Security domain and technology.Strong expertise in cyber security technologies, infrastructure, application security, databases, and networking.In-depth knowledge of information security governance, risk, and compliance (e.G., ISO 27001, SOC 2) and regulatory requirements (e.G., RBI, GDPR, IT Act, CERT-IN).Familiarity with industry standards like COBIT, NIST, SOC2, GDPR, MRC, CCPA, and ISO.Understanding of emerging cyber threats and countermeasures.Experience managing Security Operations Centers (SOC).Knowledge of Central Banks' and Financial Services' cyber security needs.Expertise in global cyber security trends in financial and central banking sectors.Experience managing teams of 80-100 professionals.Experience:22-25 years of relevant industry experience.At least 5 years as CISO/Head of Cyber Security in IT Services/Software Development/IT-enabled BFSI Captive Services.Responsibilities:Lead the Cyber Security vertical to safeguard company's assets by detecting and responding to cyber threats.Provide leadership in assessing and implementing information security standards and policies.Establish long-term security and compliance goals, strategies, and reporting mechanisms.Collaborate with stakeholders on VAPT, SSDLC, and risk assessments.Work directly with stake holders on infrastructure and application security.Develop a risk management strategy using CMMI Cyber Maturity/NIST CSF frameworks.Oversee high-risk initiatives and serve as an escalation point for mitigation efforts.Ensure compliance with global standards (MRC, SOC2, ISO27001, CCPA, GDPR).Assist in developing SOC vision and roadmap, including Threat Hunting and Deception technologies.Lead and engage in Security Operations (Incident Management, Threat Intelligence).Act as the primary control during significant security incidents.Lead and motivate the cyber security team, providing feedback for continuous improvement.Communicate and promote innovative cyber security measures and resilience.Execute transformational cyber security projects as needed.Drive continuous improvement across a complex portfolio of responsibilities.If this is of interest then either apply to the job post or share your CV at
