Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Cyber Security Analyst at Code Factory Solution. The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and monitoring security threats, conducting malware analysis, securing applications and networks, and applying analytical skills to protect systems and data.

Job Description

- Introduction to Cyber Security and Operating System Security- Cyber Attacks and Threat Landscape- Securing Windows, Linux, and macOS Systems- Kali Linux- User Authentication and Authorization- Patch Management and System Updates- Cryptography and Malware Analysis and Defense- Encryption Algorithms and Techniques- Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Digital Signatures- Malware (Viruses, Worms, Trojans, Ransomware)- Malware Detection and Removal- Web Security and Network Security- Common Web Vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL Injection, XSS)- Web Application Firewalls- Secure Network Design and Architecture- VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) and Secure Remote Access- Wireless Network Security- Ethical Hacking and Cloud Security- Penetration Testing Methodology- Vulnerability Assessment Tools- Cloud Computing Basics- Securing Cloud Services and Data- Shared Responsibility Model- Spring O-R Mapping- Risk Management and Compliance- Risk Assessment and Mitigation- Compliance Frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA)- Security Policies and Incident Handling- Emerging Technologies in Cyber Security- IoT (Internet of Things) Security- AI and Machine Learning for Security- Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies- Legal and Ethical Aspects of Cyber Security- Cyber Laws and Regulations- Privacy and Data Protection- Ethical Hacking Guidelines

Qualifications

- Application Security and Network Security skills- Cybersecurity and Malware Analysis skills- Analytical Skills- Experience in identifying and resolving security issues- Knowledge of security tools and techniques- Strong problem-solving abilities- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
