Job Title: Assistant Manager - Property Management and Leasing Location: Remote (India) Overview We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and proactive Assistant Manager - Property Management and Leasing . This role plays a pivotal part in driving new lease generation, ensuring leasing compliance, and improving operational efficiency for our residential properties in New York. This individual will not only manage and guide the leasing team but also take the lead in expanding our leasing reach, revamping the application process through AI and website enhancements , and ensuring timely preparation of leases and renewal distributions in accordance with state guidelines. Key Responsibilities Lease Generation & Process Improvement Drive new lease generation initiatives by reaching out to prospects and brokers to expand our residential leasing footprint in New York. Re-engineer and revamp the leasing application process using AI-driven tools and website automation to enhance user experience and reduce turnaround time. Oversee and manage lease renewal distributions based on state-mandated timelines, ensuring accuracy and timely communication. Performance & Compliance Develop and maintain performance benchmarks and accountability structures (daily, weekly, monthly). Ensure all leasing activities comply with company policies and regulations. Maintain accurate documentation and records. Process Optimization Standardize documentation collection, follow-up procedures, and communication protocols for efficiency. Identify and resolve bottlenecks, suggesting automation or process improvements to increase lead-to-lease conversion. Reporting & Analytics Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports tracking leads, conversions, renewals, and agent performance. Analyze leasing trends and present findings to senior leadership with actionable insights. Collaboration & Communication Liaise with property managers and compliance teams in the U.S. to ensure alignment on leasing goals and tenant requirements. Serve as the primary escalation point for complex tenant or team issues. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Real Estate, or a related field preferred. Experience: Proven experience managing remote teams in leasing, property management, or a related customer service field. Experience with residential properties in New York is highly desirable. Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Proficiency in CRM systems, property management platforms, and communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack). Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements. Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced remote setting.
