Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Engineer at Premier Engineering. The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of manufacturing processes, conducting quality assurance checks, and effectively communicating findings to the team. The role will involve actively managing quality control procedures and implementing quality management systems.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement quality control processes for bridge girder manufacturing, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local codes, and industry standards.Prepare QAP – WPSS according to the drawings of the sitePerform in-process inspections, including welding, fabrication, and painting, to ensure conformance to technical drawings and tolerances.Review and analyze product specifications and customer requirements to establish quality criteria.Conduct final inspections on finished bridge girders before shipment or installations.Supervise and perform destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT) such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, and visual inspections to ensure the structural integrity of the girders.Analyze test results, document findings, and collaborate with engineering teams to address any discrepancies or defects.

QualificationsQuality Control, Quality Assurance, and Quality Management skillsAnalytical Skills and strong attention to detailProficiency in AUTOCADExcellent communication skills for effectively conveying quality issuesExperience in quality control processes and proceduresKnowledge of industry standards and regulationsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentBachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldCertifications in Quality Control or Quality Assurance are a plus
