Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in Java development and be proficient in various Java frameworks and tools. The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based applications, ensuring their performance, quality, and responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications.

- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.

- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.

Frameworks and Tools :

- Utilize Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.

- Implement RESTful APIs and web services.

Code Review and Testing :

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

- Debug and resolve technical issues.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

- Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications.

- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java

- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts

- Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and web services

- Strong understanding of OOP principles

- Experience with SQL and database management systems

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

- Experience with version control systems such as Git

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

- Experience with microservices architecture

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Understanding of Agile methodologies

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

- Minimum of 5 years of professional Java development experience

- Strong understanding of software development principles and practices

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
