Job Description: Embedded Developer – Raspberry Pi

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Experience: Freshers (0 - 1 years)

Salary range: Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 35,000 (based on experience and skillset)

Note: Locals will be preferred.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Developer – Raspberry Pi Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in developing, deploying, and optimising embedded systems using Raspberry Pi platforms. This role involves designing and implementing innovative solutions for IoT, robotics, automation, and other applications leveraging the Raspberry Pi ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Embedded System Development:

• Design, develop, and test embedded systems using Raspberry Pi hardware.

• Customize and optimize operating systems like Raspbian/Ubuntu for specific applications.

2. Software Development:

• Write, debug, and maintain code in Python, C, C++, or other relevant programming languages.

• Develop drivers and APIs for interfacing with sensors, actuators, and other peripherals.

• Create software to manage GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, and other communication protocols.

3. Hardware Integration:

• Integrate Raspberry Pi with various hardware components, including cameras, displays, and other IoT modules.

• Prototype and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.

4. Project Management:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions within deadlines.

• Document system architecture, design decisions, and troubleshooting processes.

5. Testing and Optimization:

• Conduct performance analysis and optimize system resources, including power consumption and memory usage.

• Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of embedded solutions.

6. Innovation and Research:

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and advancements in the Raspberry Pi ecosystem.

• Explore new use cases for Raspberry Pi in industrial, consumer, and research applications.


Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.

• 0-1 years of experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on Raspberry Pi.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, or Java.

• Strong knowledge of Linux-based operating systems and shell scripting.

• Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces (GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, etc.).

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

• Experience with debugging tools and techniques for embedded systems.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Skills:

• Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, CoAP, etc.) and cloud integration.

• Knowledge of robotics, AI/ML applications, or home automation.

• Experience with PCB design and prototyping tools.

• Understanding of cybersecurity principles for embedded systems.
