Plant Head

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all plant operations, including production, quality control, maintenance, and logistics.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve production targets and efficiency goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Manage and lead plant staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
- Monitor production processes to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements.
- Develop and manage the plant budget, controlling costs and optimizing resource allocation.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Coordinate with supply chain, sales, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure operational excellence and compliance.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Plant Head or in a similar senior management role in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of production management, quality control, and maintenance.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Skills:
- Operations Management: Overseeing plant operations and ensuring efficiency.
- Leadership: Managing and leading plant staff.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Implementing strategies to enhance productivity.
- Budget Management: Developing and managing the plant budget.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software.
- Certification in project management or operational excellence.
