H. Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

I. Job Overview:

  • The Plant Head is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, maintaining high quality standards, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing production units, particularly in the manufacturing of visi-coolers, minibars, and deep freezers.

J. Key Responsibilities :

a) Operational Management :

  • Oversee the entire manufacturing process to ensure production efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources.
  • Develop and implement production plans to meet company targets and customer requirements.

b) Quality Control :

  • Ensure all products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain quality control systems and processes.

c) Team Leadership :

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the plant team to achieve set objectives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

d) Process Improvement :

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement changes to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

e) Safety and Compliance :

  • Ensure the plant operates in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

f) Budget Management :

  • Prepare and manage the plant budget, controlling costs and optimizing expenses.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.

g) Inventory and Supply Chain Management :

  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring adequate supply of raw materials and components.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials.

h) Reporting :

  • Prepare regular reports on production performance, quality metrics, and other key indicators.
  • Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders.

K. Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Plant Head or in a similar senior management role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly in the production of visi-coolers, minibars, and deep freezers.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficient in using manufacturing software and other IT systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
