The candidate must possess in-depth functional knowledge of the process area and apply it to operational scenarios to provide effective solutions. It is vital to be open-minded towards inputs and views from team members and to effectively lead, control, and motivate groups towards company objects. Additionally, he/she must be self-directed, proactive, and seize every opportunity to meet internal and external customer needs and achieve customer satisfaction by effectively auditing processes, implementing best practices and process improvements, and utilizing the frameworks and tools available. Goals and thoughts must be clearly and concisely articulated and conveyed, verbally and in writing, to clients, colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors.
Associate Process Manager Role and responsibilities:
Understanding data pipelines and modern ways of automating data pipeline using cloud and implement the requirements and deliver in timely manner.
Design and implement robust data models to efficiently store, organize, and access data for diverse use cases.
Perform data quality testing and assurance as a part of designing, building and implementing scalable data solutions in SQL
Familiar with deployment best practices and tools and understanding of automated unit testing.
Develop and implement data quality checks and monitoring systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and DevOps, to ensure successful project delivery.
Technical and Functional Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience with relevant 3+ years hands-on of experience in Python development. 2+ yrs of hands-on experience on Big Query or SQL. Good to have GCP platform hands-on experience with Pub/sub, Composer, GCP storage, Dataflow and DataProc.
Python Development: Must have Python expertise to automate or create optimized reusable components. Strong knowledge of designing and developing data engineering applications in Python. Experience in setting up automated testing and QA.
BigQuery Development: Write and optimize complex SQL queries. Utilize BigQuery features such as partitioning, clustering, and user-defined functions to improve query performance.
Data Integration and Management: In-depth understanding of data warehouse and ETL tools is required. Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and reliability. Develop scripts and processes for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Collaboration and Support: Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions. Provide support for data-related issues and troubleshoot performance or data integrity issues. Adherence to best practices and focusing on optimization, contribute to the continuous improvement of data processing workflow.
Security and Compliance: Implement and maintain security best practices to ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations. Manage access controls and permissions for data storage and querying.
Practical understanding of ETL implementations including CDC, Incremental loads, SCD’s, etc.
Good to have Power BI knowledge for visualized dashboard development from which key insights can be drawn to make business decision.
