Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technology Lead to spearhead the development of our IoT-based energy monitoring system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full-stack development, with hands-on experience in building products from the ground up. This role requires a deep understanding of both backend and frontend technologies applicable to IoT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of an IoT-based energy monitoring system.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring robust and scalable architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, energy analysts, and field energy auditors, to define and implement system requirements.
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs to support IoT data ingestion, processing, and storage.
- Design and implement user-friendly front-end interfaces for data visualization and system management.
- Ensure the system's security, reliability, and performance through rigorous testing and quality assurance.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in IoT, energy management, and software development.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment.
- Integrate AI Agents for platform development, energy optimization and client reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in full stack development, with a proven track record of building and launching successful products from scratch.
- Strong proficiency in backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or Go.
- Extensive experience with frontend frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Deep understanding of IoT protocols and technologies, including MQTT, LoRA, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for IoT solutions.
- Familiarity with database systems (SQL and NoSQL) and data streaming technologies.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for IoT systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with edge computing and real-time data processing.
- Understanding of energy management systems and relevant industry standards.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Previous experience in mentoring or leading a technical team.
