As we continue to scale, we are looking for a VP of Technology to lead the strategic direction and execution of our technology initiatives.We are looking for a hands-on technology leader with deep expertise in AI/ML, particularly generative AI, who is also an inspiring team leader capable of driving both the technical and business aspects of a fast-growing AI company.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Vice President of Technology at a21.ai in New Delhi. The Vice President of Technology will oversee IT strategy, project management, and strategic planning, utilizing strong analytical skills. Responsibilities include leading technology teams, driving innovation, and implementing efficient IT solutions to execute client projects.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the company’s AI technology strategy, focusing on generative AI innovations, AI/ML models, and cloud-based AI solutions that align with business objectives.Product Development & Innovation: Lead the development and continuous innovation of AI products and platforms, including large language models (LLMs), generative models, and AI-driven automation tools.Team Leadership & Development: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of AI engineers, data scientists, and architects. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.Project Management & Delivery: Oversee the successful execution of AI projects, from planning to deployment, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery while managing risks and customer expectations.Customer Engagement: Collaborate with customers to translate their business needs into technical solutions, develop use cases for generative AI, and manage key stakeholder relationships.Technology Governance: Establish best practices for AI lifecycle management, including LLMOps, model fine-tuning, and governance frameworks to ensure ethical and secure AI usage.Partnerships & Ecosystem: Identify and develop partnerships with AI technology providers, cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and research institutions to stay ahead of AI advancements and maintain competitive edge.QualificationsStrong Analytical Skills15+ years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 5+ years in ML/Deeplearning. Proficiency in Project Management and client managementExcellent leadership and communication skillsRelevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fieldProven track record of delivering complex solutions to enterprises, ideally with experience in industries such as BFSI, Healthcare, Legal, or Technology.
