Business Analysis Specialist

The Exception and Control Management is responsible for the development, production, transformation and delivery, redistribution, and processing of data and reporting for Customer Service and Card Lending Services. Analyzing datasets, building data workflows, writing queries to obtain the required data for business monitoring and decisions, and moving data from several sources so teams can more efficiently manage and review their production work in a Control environment. Meeting with stakeholders to collect requirements, review work and conduct training.
The Role
As a Business Analyst, you will be supporting operational activities by leveraging data and/or processes to deliver results, identify root causes, define business requirements, and analyze technical or operational impacts. Designs and develops reports in support of business strategies. Produces reporting and communications in support of operational or change initiatives. Partners with stakeholders to support finance, control and/or regulatory needs, as well as change control and readiness.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Managing the requirements and implementation of processes Ensure all documentation is updated on procedures and requirement documents Lead efforts targeted to improve process management Develop and maintain effective working relationships with operational leaders and partners both internal and external to Service and Lending Operations Identify new opportunities to bring new process improvements. Managing the requirements and implementation of Reporting in Card Lending Services Automation and Semi-Automation of manual processes through Batch processing and User ToolsTechnical Skills
Minimum of 0-3 years Business Analyst experience, reporting and data processing Knowledge of SQL programming and relational database design Experience with Business Intelligence platforms, Tableau, Alteryx, Visual Basic preferred Experience in data analysis, developing trend and comparison reporting Experience with designing and developing Executive dashboards and KPI scorecards Experience with SAS a plus Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to multiple levels of management both in writing and orally Self-starter, extremely organized and detailed-oriented with strong commitment to accuracy Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint-
