Job Description :


- Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe applications using Assembler, COBOL, JCL, DB2, and IMS DB.

- Write and optimize code to ensure high performance and reliability.

- Utilize Assembler programs to access and manage IMS DB and DB2 databases efficiently.

- Apply strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex issues within Mainframe applications, ensuring system stability and performance.

- Use tools like Endevor and TWS for application management and scheduling.

- Implement and manage Mainframe Utilities to streamline processes.

- Work effectively with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions and support business objectives.

- Communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills :

Mainframe Expertise : Minimum of 5 years' experience in Mainframe environments with more than 3 years specifically in Assembler Programming.

Technical Proficiency :


- In-depth knowledge of Assembler, COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB, Endevor, TWS, and Mainframe Utilities.

- Familiarity with IMS DC, REXX, JIRA, MQ, and Easy Trieve is preferred.

- Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze and resolve complex issues in Mainframe applications.

Soft Skills :

- Problem-Solving : Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a proven track record of diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

- Communication : Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts effectively.
