We are a rapidly growing team of 10-15 employees, with 50% of our team focused on technology. At Ommify, we provide an opportunity to continuously learn and expand your knowledge base while working alongside a multidisciplinary team with a global footprint.
Role Overview:
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the client-side and server-side components of our web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable applications. You should have strong experience in modern web development technologies, particularly Node.js, React, and MongoDB.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Node.js, React, and MongoDB.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code for both front-end and back-end systems.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
Develop RESTful APIs and ensure smooth integration between front-end and back-end.
Optimize application performance for speed and scalability.
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and debug applications.
Participate in all stages of software development, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and testing.
Ensure the application is secure, responsive, and user-friendly across all platforms.
Write and maintain technical documentation.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in Node.js for server-side development.
Strong knowledge of React.js for front-end development.
Solid understanding of MongoDB and experience working with NoSQL databases.
Experience with RESTful API design and development.
Familiarity with Version Control Systems , particularly Git .
Experience with front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript .
Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
Knowledge of modern front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize code.
Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) from leading university is must.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud .
Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes .
Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Experience with microservices architecture.
