About the Role
This role will involve:
Building and integrating REST APIs within a Node/Nest JS service.
Handling message queues with Rabbit MQ for asynchronous processing.
Database management using Postgre SQL for data storage and retrieval.
Responsibilities
API Development and Integration:
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Node.js/Nest JS.
Collaborate on API architecture and integration strategies, focusing on scalability and security.
Handle complex integrations with external services.
Asynchronous Processing with Rabbit MQ:
Implement and manage message queues using Rabbit MQ to support asynchronous processes and background tasks.
Design and configure different Rabbit MQ exchanges and queues to ensure reliable message handling.
Monitor and optimize message processing for performance and error handling.
Database Management (Postgre SQL):
Work with Postgre SQL for data modeling, query optimization, and performance management.
Utilize both ORM and raw SQL for complex queries and data management.
System Optimization and Maintenance:
Maintain and improve backend service efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
Write comprehensive documentation and implement testing for APIs and messaging workflows.
Required Skills
Node.js and Nest JS: Proficiency in backend service development, with Nest JS for structured and maintainable code.
Rabbit MQ: Expertise in setting up and managing message queues, including designing and implementing multiple exchange types.
RESTful API Design: Experience in building scalable, secure APIs.
Postgre SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, and ORM use.
Type Script: For type safety and maintainable code within Node/Nest JS.
Experience with Asynchronous Programming: In-depth understanding of asynchronous patterns in Java Script and Node.js.
Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote and local teams
