This role demands a dynamic individual with analytical acumen, field experience, and a passion for data-driven development outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Project Monitoring & Evaluation Assist in the design of project-specific assessments, baselines, and monitoring plans. Develop/refine M&E tools and systems aligned with project result frameworks. Conduct literature reviews, household surveys, key informant interviews, and FGDs. Train data collectors and ensure data quality through regular monitoring. Track project progress via field visits and performance indicator reviews. Conduct concurrent monitoring of activities with real-time data inputs. Data Management & Analysis Develop and maintain accurate, project-specific beneficiary databases. Manage and update data management/MIS platforms. Conduct regular data quality reviews to ensure accuracy and integrity. Consolidate multi-source data for analysis and informed decision-making. Generate evidence-based insights and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Reporting & Coordination Prepare comprehensive reports based on assessments and field monitoring. Participate in regular review meetings with program teams for alignment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate M&E practices organization-wide. General Responsibilities: Uphold professionalism and organizational policies at all levels. Ensure data privacy, confidentiality, and security protocols. Willingness to travel frequently, including to rural/remote areas at short notice. Support emergency response, volunteering, and organizational initiatives as required. Own tasks with a sense of accountability, quality, and timeliness. Undertake additional duties as assigned by the organization. Qualifications & Experience: Essential: Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Rural Development, Health Sciences, Sociology, Anthropology, or related fields. Minimum of 2-3 year of relevant experience in the development/NGO sector. Basic understanding of M&E principles, tools, and field implementation. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Desirable: Experience working in multidisciplinary teams and fast-paced environments. Familiarity with qualitative/quantitative research methodologies. Experience in data analysis and report writing. Knowledge of design tools like Canva is a plus. Fluency in Kannada is an advantage. Skills & Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication in English. Excellent analytical and report writing skills. Proactive, self-driven, and detail-oriented. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines. Experience with tools like Kobo, Google Forms, SurveyMonkey. Familiarity with SPSS, R, Stata, Python, Power BI, or Tableau is advantageous.
