Job brief

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Finance Manager, specializing in financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities to drive informed decision-making and support the company's growth trajectory. Experience in fintech companies is an added advantage.


Financial Planning and Reporting:

Prepare and analysefinancial statements, including income statements, balancesheets, and cash flow statements.

Generate financial reportsand provide insightsinto financial performance to support decision- making.

Responsible for providing financial support for planning and control and P&L management, consolidation and reporting of financial results.

Responsibilities will also include gathering, modeling, analyzing, and summarizing information into financial plans, operating forecasts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual basis.

Proactively provide view of risks/opportunities and other forward-looking information to mitigate risks.

Prepare and provide recommendations based on analysis performed on various aspects of actual spend vs forecast/plans.

Perform revenue/ expense analysis at cost center level, reconciliation of accounts, variance analysis and ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Ensure that financial operations are fully compliant with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Manage financial risks and take proactive measures to mitigate potential issues.


Audit:

Support internaland external auditsby providing necessarydocumentation and explanations.

Assist in the preparation of financial information for tax filings and liaise with externaltax advisors as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance,or a related field. Preferably CA.

Familiarity with payrollprocessing and benefitsadministration.

Proven experience in accounting or finance roles,preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.

Proficiency in accounting software and financialmanagement tools (e.g.,QuickBooks, Tally, Excel).

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience with financialanalysis and reporting.
