We are looking for a strategic and analytical individual to join our team as a Finance Manager. This role is ideal for someone who excels in financial planning and analysis, ensuring sound financial strategies align with organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all accounts payable functions.
  • Coordinate with the GBS team daily to monitor invoice booking status and resolve related queries.
  • Handle the processing and tracking of vendor advances.
  • Ensure timely payments for imports.
  • Manage GRIR ageing and DFC clearing.
  • Handle CWIP follow-up, AUC settlement, and capitalization according to Local & US GAAP; provide necessary reporting.
  • Review CWIP monthly with project and engineering teams, and capitalize assets.
  • Prepare cash flow projections related to accounts payable.
  • Conduct month-end closing and reporting for accounts payable and Capex.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly reconciliations; address and remediate discrepancies.
  • Calculate depreciation quarterly according to the Income Tax Act.
  • Prepare schedules and actively participate in statutory and tax audits.
  • Prepare Capex and other MIS information for quarterly board meetings.
  • Provide Capex project data to stakeholders.
  • Conduct physical asset verification and reporting.
Qualifications
  • Experience with accounts payable and SAP.
  • Knowledge of DFC (Duty/Freight/Clearing) in SAP.
  • Understanding of asset accounting processes, including TECHO/Financial close in SAP.
  • Familiarity with CWIP ageing analysis.
  • Knowledge of depreciation calculation differences between Income Tax and local GAAP.
  • Ability to prepare schedules for tax audits.
  • Strong understanding of invoice booking and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Capex projects and communication with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English communication.
