Driver

Role Overview

The Driver will be responsible for transporting goods (mushroom spawn, mushroom bags, and related materials) safely and efficiently to customers, distributors, and company project sites. The role requires punctuality, safe driving practices, and responsibility for the care of company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Transportation

• Operate company vehicles (two-wheeler/four-wheeler, as assigned) for deliveries and pickups.
• Ensure safe, timely, and efficient transportation of goods and staff if required.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Assist in loading and unloading of goods.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Check vehicle condition daily (fuel, oil, brakes, tires, lights).
• Ensure regular servicing and cleanliness of the vehicle.
• Report any mechanical issues or damages immediately to the supervisor.

Compliance & Documentation

• Maintain logbook of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption.
• Ensure all necessary documents (license, insurance, permits) are valid and available in the vehicle.
• Follow traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum: SSLC (10th Pass).
• Valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience.
• Knowledge of local and regional routes.
• Good driving record with no history of major violations.
• Physically fit to handle loading/unloading if required.
• Punctual, reliable, and disciplined.

Work Environment

• Field-based work, involving local and regional travel.
• May require early morning, late evening, or weekend trips based on delivery schedules.

Compensation & Benefits

• Fixed Salary: ₹18,000 per month.
• Overtime/allowance for long-distance trips where applicable.
• Uniform provided.
• Meals/transport allowance as per company policy.
