The Team: The Human Resources team, supports the development and growth of talent by effectively chalking out initiatives in conjunction with business leaders and global teams. We aim to implement human resource strategies in India to improve organizational effectiveness.

Morningstar is seeking a Talent & Culture Business Partner to help advance our India Talent & Culture function. In this role, located at Vashi, Navi Mumbai, you will understand employee needs, design programs and practices that assist in building a high performing organization and work closely with leadership team to enhance employee engagement.
 

Responsibilities:
• Understand business needs, dynamics and market insights to drive initiatives that resonate well to business growth
• Provide advice and support on budget & workforce planning for the respective team
• Collaborate with Talent & Culture functional teams to facilitate key Talent & Culture processes and
communication to respective business team - eg compensation process, performance process, talent review, etc.
• Provide insight and suggestions to Talent & Culture functional teams for continuous improvement
• Work with leadership team to build high performing team and foster positive organization culture by contributing to areas of talent development, leadership development, internal communication, organizational design and employee engagement
• Partner with global business partners to share and adopt best practices
• Serve as a coach and consultant to leaders, managers and employees
• Ensure legal compliance of Talent & Culture practices and managing employee relation issues
• Ability to analyse data into insights that provide and aid decision making. Create own dashboard as required
• Agile to pick up Talent & Culture projects as required
 

Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in behavioral science (OD, HR Management, and Psychology) or MBA with appropriate experience preferred
• About 12+ years of experience in a generalist HR role out of which at least five years into Business Partner role and managing employee issues
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to plan, design and implement employee initiatives for employee engagement
• Strong collaboration skills to work with leaders and get their buy-in on various employee initiatives
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and planning skill
• Ability to influence and work together with cross-cultural and diverse individuals and teams
• Mature, passion for dealing with people and a great team player
• Experience of working through ambiguity and complexity to provide simple, expedient and practical solutions
