Position Title: Plant Manager
Location: México
Job Summary: As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations at our facility in Mexico. Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient production of high-quality glass products while adhering to safety standards, maximizing plant capacity, and driving cost-saving initiatives. Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will play a key role in leading the plant towards operational excellence and meeting organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring Production Plan Compliance: Ensure adherence to the production plan to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
- Planning Machinery and Equipment Maintenance: Develop maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Operating at Maximum Plant Capacity: Implement strategies to operate the plant at maximum capacity, minimizing idle time and improving efficiency.
- Proposing Cost-saving Ideas: Identify opportunities for cost savings and propose initiatives to improve business profitability.
- Managing Operation Requirements and Resources: Evaluate and manage operational requirements and resources, including material stock levels, to support production while maintaining quality standards.
- Budget Compliance: Manage the allocated budget for the department, seeking opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
- Ensuring Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies to maintain a safe and legal working environment.
- Establishing and Ensuring Compliance with Quality Objectives: Set and ensure the achievement of quality objectives for the areas under your supervision.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the glass manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of production processes, machinery maintenance, and quality control standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.

Requirements
Experience in glass manufacturing is a must.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Proven experience in continuous improvement, process optimization, and project management. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or other relevant improvement methodologies is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management software. Working Conditions: This role may require occasional travel to various company locations or partner organizations. Flexible work hours to accommodate project needs and deadlines. The position may involve occasional extended work hours during critical project phases.
