Team Manager - Maintenance (Battery Pack Assembly) Apply now » Date: 6 Oct 2025 Location: Chittoor, AP, IN #job-location.job-location-inline { display: inline; } Company: Hero Motocorp Function Operations Pay Band E4 to M2 Role As the Team Manager - Maintenance (Battery Pack Assembly) you will be part of the Operations and will report to the Section Head - Maintenance (EV). The purpose of your role will be to do Ability to manage breakdown maintenance & preventive maintenance of Automated battery manufacturing line equipped with Robots & Glue dispensing machines to ensure smooth functioning of equipment by eliminating the hindrance to production. A purpose driven role for you Your key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: 1. Attending the breakdown & PM, CBM, TBM of various equipment like ABB & Mitsibishi Scara Robots, Graco & Netzsch pumps, Conveyors, Battery Tester, Cognex Vision systems, Festo drives & Ador EOL testing machines in fully automated Battery Pack Manufacturing line. 2. Attending and resolving Machinery Breakdowns with Root cause analysis & CAPA 3. Hands-on Experience in Mitsubishi PLC (Q series) and HMI for diagnosis of the faults & logic modifications as per requirements. 3. Direct and support technicians to install, maintain or repair electrical systems, diagnosis & repairs of electrical problems in ABB, Mitsubishi robots, pumps and conveyors & Mitsubishi PLC. 4. Ensuring daily maintenance MIS reporting in SAP for breakdowns & PM,TBM,CBM 5. Ensuring safe working practices & Identify/help in eliminating the unsafe condition A Day in the life Manage EV Battery pack line, Drive train Assembly line reducing the Breakdown frequency and hours to ensure smooth functioning by eliminating the hindrance to production.,Daily Shift handling, Manpower allocation as per the standards,ensuring the safety of people with upkeeping the motivation resource utilization as per the set target, rejection reductions and to achieve the daily set production volume targets ensuring the quality standards. Academic Qualification & Experience - B.E / B.Tech - Electrical / Electronics Preferrably with 6 to 8 Years of Experience or Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electronics with 10 to 12 Years in automated Battery Pack Manufacturing line with ABB, Robots, Mitsubishi PLC, Cognex Vision systems & Graco Gluing systems Technical Skills/Knowledge 1. Hands-on Experience in Mitsubishi PLC (Q series) and HMI for diagnosis of the faults & logic modifications as per requirements. 2. Ability to implement Digitization, Automation and IoT projects across the plant 3. EV Battery Pack equipment, SCARA Robots & Amada Welding Robots 4. Conveyors, UPS, PLC, Vision Systems 5. Adhesive dispensing equipment 6. Maintenance and Projects Behavioural Skills 1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. 3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills 4. Behavioral Based Safety Approach 5. planning and decision making.
