Designation:Asst. Category Manager

Werelooking for a assistant category manager whocan

MakeCompany the most preferred FMCG & Staples buying destinationfor Kirana retailers all across India. Drive aggressive andprofitable growth in customer (Kirana retailer) base toplinebottomline of the assignedcategories.

Inorder to do this you will needto:

KeyResponsibilities:

Understand the needs of the customer based on consumption patterneconomic status anddemographics

Analysis of onapp behavior of customers (search traffic conversionfunneletc)

Understand market trends and factors shaping customer demand andindustrydynamics

Analysis of competing offerings available to the customers (acrossmultiple offline and onlinechannels)

Define the customer value proposition and the entire experience forthe customer w.r.t. to thecategory

Create a category strategy and use this to develop annual categoryplans at overall category and city/regional levels based on topdownand bottomupinputs

Translate into detailed and actionable monthly category plans withclearly defined owners andcheckpoints

Own execution of annual and monthly category plans to drive toplineand bottomlinegoals

Define the selection/assortment required to serve the needs of thetarget customer and work with Category Buyers to list theseproducts and drive their consistent availability on theplatform

Improve discovery of the right products and drive higher conversionrates

Own creation and execution of targeted promotions & campaignsTrack campaign performance daily and work with merchandising andmarketing teams to improveROI.

Provide regular inputs to category buyers to help them drive highROIinvestments
