Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting and Reporting:
Oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with Indian accounting standards (Ind AS) and other applicable regulations.
Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare and present financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to the CFO and senior management.
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop detailed budgets.
Monitor actual performance against budget, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
Prepare financial forecasts and scenario analyses to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.

Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, and ensure the company’s policies and procedures are compliant.
Cash Flow Management:
Monitor cash flow and working capital, ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity to meet its operational needs.
Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating financing arrangements and credit facilities.
Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to optimize cash conversion cycles.
Cost Management:
Analyze and report on cost structures, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to manage inventory levels and control raw material costs.
Implement cost accounting systems and methodologies to track and control production costs.
Team Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and capabilities.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Financial Strategy and Business Support:
Support the CFO in developing and implementing the company’s financial strategy.

Qualifications and Skills:

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Ind AS, GST, direct and indirect tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally).
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Leadership: Proven leadership and team management abilities, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to Detail: High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and contribute to long-term financial planning and business growth.
