Job Description:
We are looking for a Sales Intern to support our sales team in prospecting, qualifying leads, and generating sales opportunities through research & outbound telephone calls. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, develop communication skills, and learn about the sales process in a fast-paced and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Research on internet to understand customer prospects and help in generating leads.
- Make outbound calls to potential customers from provided lead lists or databases.
- Introduce company products/services to prospects and articulate key features and benefits.
- Qualify leads by assessing their needs, budget, timeline, and decision-making process.
- Provide product/service information and answer questions from prospects.
- Schedule appointments, product demonstrations, or follow-up calls for sales representatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of calls, interactions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads and follow-up on leads as needed.
- Participate in sales training sessions and workshops to enhance sales skills and product knowledge.
- Assist in developing and refining sales scripts and call templates for various target segments.
- Contribute to team meetings by sharing insights, feedback, and suggestions for process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage customers over the phone.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, outgoing demeanor.
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a desire to learn and succeed in sales.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections professionally.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to adapt and learn quickly in a dynamic and evolving industry.
- Available to commit to 6 Days (8 Hours a day) per week for the duration of the internship.
